Squash Varsity Trounces Quakers in 9-0 Contest

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The squash team collected its seventh consecutive victory of the season yesterday, dispatching the Penn varsity with a 9-0 coup-de-grace which left little doubt that Harvard will be, as is often the case, a formidable contender for the Intercollegiate title.

Williams is next on the Crimson's schedule, and this match, unfortunately for Harvard, should little resemble the Penn thrashing. Williams boasts perennial strength; last year, for example, the Ephs took more individual matches from the Crimson than any other team except Yale--the only varsity to defeat Harvard. Williams lost 6 to 3 in 1961.

Presumably, however, the Crimson will slip past Williams with an undefeated record intact. The varsity will at that point have but one match left, against Yale. This contest will be a thriller; regrettably, it is to be played in New Haven.
