Wesleyan Will Accept NDEA Loan Funds

Wesleyan College has rejoined the NDEA student loan program, although Wesleyan president Victor L. Butterfield feels the revised law still has some objectionable provisions. Amherst, Brown, Colby, Harvard, Oberlin, Princeton, and Yale have also rejoined the program since the disclaimer affidavit was removed.

Haverford College, however, is still considering participation, and three members of its board of managers have been asked to review the NDEA program.
