Weakness in the lower weight classes cost the varsity wrestling team a close match against Franklin and Marshall College Saturday in Lancaster.

Harvard's Ben Brooks (191 pounds) scored in the only fall in the 15-14 loss, pinning his man with a chicken-wing hoist in 1:41 of the third period. Other Crimson winners were Bob Kolodney at 157, Fred Pereira at 177, and Bob Fastof in the unlimited class.

C.C.N.Y. downed the Crimson fencing team Saturday in a match closer than the 18-9 score indicated. Nine Harvard defeats were by five to four hit margins, the equivalant of a deuce game in tennis.
