Squash Team Shuts Out M.I.T., 9-0; Engineers Take Only Three Games

Harvard's varsity squash team played its poorest match of the season last night, but still had no trouble gliding over a weak, and inexperienced M.I.T. squad 9 to 0 on the Engineers' home courts.

Probably because of the quality of their opposition, the Crimson racquet men did not play up to their par. It's fortunate for Tech that they did not, since even as it was only three of the hapless Engineers were able to win one game in the three-out-of-five game sets.

Number one man Vic Nelderhoffer set the pace for the Crimson by walking over M.I.T. captain Matthew Lizo 3-9. In the only interesting set Paul Sullivan beat Paul Bugyl 3-1 in four close games. After Sullivan's set, Harvard coasted the rest of the way. Doug Walter had the honor of allowing his opponent the fewest points, ten, in his three games.
