Freshmen Win 7-0 As B.C. Drops First

The Yardling gridmen kept their record unsullied with a hard-fought 7-0 triumph yesterday over previously undefeated Boston College.

The Crimson dominated the entire first half, but neither team was able to score. At the start of the third period, the B.C. offense came abruptly to life as the Eagles managed to drive the ball into Harvard territory. They failed to score, however, and the Yardlings took over on their own 37.

Quarterback Paul Dennebaum then piloted a 60-yard drive to the Eagle three, and climaxed it with an off-tackle sneak for the only tally of the game.

Coach Henry Lamar called the contest "a magnificent game." He was particularly pleased with the defensive play of the Crimson's three powerful lines, which were responsible for at least 5 crucial interceptions.
