The appointment of Richard T. Gill to the Mastership of Leverett House comes as a welcome, though not unpredictable event. His work two years ago in shaping the College's tutorial program, and his efforts this fall on the Faculty committee for reappraising General Education, provide abundant evidence of Mr. Gill's concern for undergraduate education. Because of this concern, he is a logical and fortunate choice.
