While controversy is raging about lengthening parietal hours in the halls of Radcliffe, the Freshman Student Council is quietly making plans for a possible proposal to grant the Yardlings more time to entertain female guests in their rooms.
When Council members canvass the dorms to sell tickets for Saturday's "New Heaven" dance, they will also test freshman opinion about the proposal. Results have already come in from Weld South, where over 75 per cent of the students polled favored lengthening parietals.
Presently, parietal hours for freshmen end at 7 p.m. on weekdays and at 8 p.m. on weekends.
