8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Controversy has ripped through Radcliffe during the past few weeks over the question of extended parietal hours in the dorms. Some dorms have voted to extend the hours. While other decided there is enough male visitation as it is.
There was fierce debate in each dorm, however, no matter what decision was eventually reached. One of the residents of Briggs Hall, which rejected the extension, said, "Briggs is not set upstairs, you know. I don't think our bedrooms are conductive to any kind of jollity...you know."
Eilot Votes Increase
Eliot Hall, on the other hand, voted an increase of 18 hours in parietal time. Many Robertson '64 was delighted with the change and giggled gleefully, "I think this is a great move up! Ha! Ha."
An air of secrecy pervaded Comstock Hall, where everyone was afraid to divulge any information. A typical statement: "I don't think that the results have been released--I really don't think they're telling anybody!"
The residents of Holmes Hall seemed relatively unconcerned with the brutal battles being waged throughout the rest of Radcliffe, for Holmes has not yet voted. "We will vote," said a student official, "as soon as we have a fire drill--and several other things--and not until then."
