Director of the American National Cross Educational Department will featured speaker at the Raymond at Memorial Dinner in the Leverett Dining Room at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
Robert Gordon, former dean of the University of Southern California and a nationally known speaker, will discuss the concept of student volunteering in a talk entitled "Beyond Space."
Sponsored by PBH, the dinner is in memory of a former PBH Graduate Secretary.
Though dinner reservations have closed, PBH has invited all students to participate in this afternoon's small discussion groups at 2:30 and 3:45 p.m. at PBH. Discussion leaders will include the superintendent of the state reform school; the deputy Commissioner of Correction; Harold L. Goyette, the University Planning Officer; George W. Goethals, lecturer on Social Relations; Dana L. Farnsworth, Director of the University Health Services; Charles A. Janeway, professor of Pediatrics; and Christine M. Gibson, lecturer on Education and co-Inventor of Languages through Pictures.
