Recalling, perhaps the dispatch with which President Kennedy recently disposed of the small band of willful steel executives, ex-President Eisenhower took a potshot last Wednesday at what seems to be his own nemesis. Circling his beloved boondocks in support of ailing Republicans, Ike lambasted that "small band of unauthorized professors from a particular college" who through Kennedy Administration programs, are trying "to tell me and to tell everyone how to live." Eisenhower went on to mention that he isn't about to trust his own future or that of his grandson to any "little clique of self-appointed professors." The feeling, one suspects, is probably mutual.
