Beer, Maas to Head Students For Kennedy

Samuel H. Beer, professor of Government, and Arthur A. Maass, professor of Government, are the Faculty sponsors of the newly organized Harvard Students for Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy, Anthony A. Barash '65, chairman of the group, announced yesterday.

Thirty College and graduate students have agreed to work for Kennedy this fall. Barash termed this turnout "a demonstration of the large support of Ted Kennedy's candidacy in the Harvard Community."

The organization's steering committee includes Edward H. Martin '63, John A. Rava '58, Ronald Sturm 1G, Robert S. Hillman '31, Albie Cullen '60, and David Major 2G.
