"At Harvard," says the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, "the student who does well academically is found to be unstable, naive, insecure, effeminate, and highly emotional." And in general, the high-marks achiever "has less potential for creative activity."

These findings, together with the conclusion that grades are poor criteria for college admission, scholarships, and jobs, are the results of a recent study made by the Corporation of colleges all over the country.
