Meal Change Denied

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All petitions, discussions, or requests for more buffet meals at Radcliffe during exam period have been definitively ended. When approached this week with a Barnard Hall petition, Dean Brown stated that the change was out of the question, citing several different reasons.

She mentioned psychological and financial factors primarily.

Under the present system girls eat "sit-down" dinners for five meals a week in the brick dorms. Although during exam period the meal times will be slightly different to accomodate the exam schedule, there will be no change in the style of serving. Not until the number of girls in the dorms has decreased sufficiently (about Jan. 28) will buffet style be used.
