One of the hallmarks of the Harvard traditions has been an enlightened and courageous attitude toward freedom of thought and expression.

We find it ironic that a man like Pete Seeger, who is invoking the right of freedom of speech in the courts, should be denied the right to speak at Harvard. Peter L. Goldman,   Robert C. Smith,   Thomas H. Joyce,   Nleman Fellows.
