Two University buildings--the Loeb Drama Center and the World Religious Center--are among the seven architectural projects which the Boston Arts Festival has selected for exhibition in the Public Garden June 8 to 25.
Photographs and models of the buildings will go on display in the festival's dome as part of the fine arts program.
Both buildings were designed by Cambridge architects--the Loeb Drama Center by Hugh Stubbins and Associates, the World Religious Center by Sert, Jackson, and Gourley.
Other winners of the New Englandwide competition were: Headquarters Office, Massachusetts Blue Cross-Blue Shield, L. A. Hanscom Elementary School, and three private residences.
The judges making the selection included Vincent Scolly, Yale University School of Art and Architecture, and architects Wilhelm-Viggo von Moltke and Harry M. Weese.
