The varsity basketball and hockey teams will travel to the Mid-west during next year's Christmas vacation, the Department of Athletics has announced.
The basketball team will play in a six-college invitational tournament at Washington in St. Louis, Dec. 23-30. On its return trip to Cambridge, the quintet will meet Carnegie Tech. at Pittsburgh, Jan. 3.
Other teams in the field are host Washington University, Valparaiso, DePaw, Wheaton, and Williams Jewell, all Midwestern schools.
The hockey team play two games at the University of Minnestota and a pair at Colorado College over the Christmas holidays.
