The freshman class has elected David I. Oyama '64, of Wigglesworth Hall and Chicago; Marc J. Roberts '64, of Grays Hall and Bayonno, N.J.; Joseph M. Russin '64, of Wigglesworth Hall and Laramie, Wyo.; and John Thorndike '64, of Mower Hall and Exeter, N.H. to serve on the Student Council during the Fall term next year.
Russin and Roberts are currently members of the Council, having been elected by the Freshman Council at the beginning of this year to represent them on the senior body.
The Council committee on reorganization is now considering constitutional changes in line with the directives it received at the May 5 Council meeting.
As proposed in a Council resolution, the revamped group will have 22 members, one being elected at large in each House, one selected by each House committee, and four chosen from the Freshman class.
The changes recommended by the group will be debated in the Council at the beginning of next year, and then presented to the student body for approval.
