GOLF TEAM BEATS M.I.T.

A determined Crimson golf team won a convincing 4 1/2 2 1/2 victory over M.I.T. yesterday at Oakley, bringing its record to 3-2 for the season.

Captain Flake Warren at number one, and Bob Holton at number three led the varsity with two under par 70's, and Al Lipsky at number five, and Herb Wollan at number six, also contributed wins Holton shot nine three stroke holes as the Crimson averaged 74 strokes per man.

John Livingood and George Duffy were the only losers, both coming out on the short end of very tight matches.
