Track Trials Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Bill McCurdy is running track trials today at the Stadium at 13:30 p.m. that might be interesting. The results will largely determine whether of not the team goes to the Penn Relays next Friday.

The highlight of the day will be Fred Howard's attempt to run a fast of mile than Mark Mullin, the University recordholder in that event. Howard currently holds the record in the half mile.

The quarter mile, pitting Larry Repsher, Dave Nawi, Don Kirkland, and Gus Sobumacher against each other, should be equally good. All four are capable of sub-50 times.

The annual junior-senior mile relay will also be run this afternoon.
