The Loeb Drama Center has partially failed to fulfill its obligation to the University and Radcliffe, Mary I. Bunting, President of Radcliffe, indicated Wednesday.
"I am concerned that so many of the participants in Loeb productions have not been Harvard or Radcliffe students. This is not quite appropriate," she commented.
She noted, however, that some disappointment with the Loeb was inevitable. "When one considers the number of drama groups at Harvard, it was unrealistic to assume that the Center would solve all their problems," she pointed out.
"I hope that next year Radcliffe's Drumbeats and Song production can run for a week in the Loeb theatre," President Bunting added. The show, which raises money for scholarships, failed to obtain the Loeb facilities this year.
