Karl to Assume Post Of Eliot Senior Tutor

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Barry D. Karl, Head Tutor for the Department of History and Literature and Executive Secretary to the Committee on General Education, has been named to succeed William B. Slottman as Allston Burr Senior Tutor of Eliot House next fall.

In assuming his new duties, Karl will give up his post with the Committee on General Education, but will remain Head Tutor of History and Literature. Slottman, assistant professor of History, will devote most of his time to teaching and tutoring.

A non-resident tutor at Eliot for the past year, Karl said he has no plans for large scale changes. "I am just looking forward to enjoying the House as it is," he noted.
