Yale Swimmers Down Quincy House, 32-18

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Quincy House swimming team, with one individual first and a win in the freestyle relay, lost to Yale's Saybrook College, 32 to 18, Saturday afternoon at the IAB.

Jim Schroeder gained the only first for the Crimson representatives by taking the 200-yard freestyle. Mike Mayers of Quincy was third. Quincy finished its intramural season with a 7-1 record--tied with Leverett--and then defeated the Leverett team in a special play-off Thursday for the right to meet Yale's college champion.

Other scorers for the House were Tom Lightbody (third in the fly), Tom Angell (third in the breaststroke), and Paul Aronoldi (second in the backstroke). The freestyle quartet beat its Yale counterpart, but the medley team missed a chance to win the meet with a victory.

Dunster Squash Team Wins

At Yale the Dunster House squash team defeated Calhoun College, 4 to 1. Winners for the Crimson were Bob Howe, Jake Slepian, Grey Jones, and Ben Dibley.

'64 Wrestler Wins

Also over the weekend, Fred Pereira of the freshman wrestling team, won the 167-pound championship at West Point's invitational tournament for freshmen. Five Yardling entrants were eliminated early in the competition by eventual winners in their classes.
