Ted Bailey of the Crimson track team threw the 35-pound weight 61 ft., 8 in. yesterday to win the New England A.A.U. championship.
Roger Wilson placed fourth in the meet, which was held at M.I.T., with a heave of 55 ft., 4 1/2 in. Sophomore Art Doten registered a distance of 51 ft., 11 in.
The Harvard record in the event is held by Art's older brother, Stan Doten.
