Glee Club to Tour

Sixty members of the Glee Club will fly Washington, D.C. next month to sing President Kennedy at the Statler Hotel.

The singers, who also plan to tour the East this summer, will perform on March 18 at the Radio and Television Correspondent' Annual Dinner, where Kennedy will be the chief guest.

Robert C. Doyle '42, owner of a TV in Maryland, said he invited the Club as a "gesture of honor" to the President.

Kennedy will meet each member of the group after the Dinner.

The program for the concert is not yet decided. But Elliott Forbes '40, director of the Club, said yesterday that "we would like to sing something that is appriate to the occasion." Forbes hopes the program will provide publicity for the Eastern Tour.
