The varsity fencing team handily won its first match of the season Saturday defeating Brandeis, 16 to 11. The Crimson scored victories in three foll, seven sabre, and six epee matches.
Paul Winig was the only fencer to win all three of his matches, while Jim Pusey, John Kennedy, Jon Reckler, Nick Spitzer, Don McCloskey, and Dan Kirsch each contributed two wins.
