Neil E. Harlan, associate professor of Business Administration, was appointed Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial management Tuesday. He will be responsible for managing a budget of about $23 billion.
As a consultant to the Air Force in 1951 and 1952, Harlan developed its current financial control system. He joined the Business School faculty in 1954.
