Interested students should apply for the summer field studies program as soon as possible before December 1 at Professor's office, 9 Bow St. All undergraduates with a demonstrable serious interest in some aspect of Latin American studies, international relations, or the sciences may apply. Applicants need not be anthropology majors; those accepted are expected to learn Spanish or Portuguese on their own during the Spring Term. Scholarships are available. Undergraduates from Cornell, Columbia, Illinois also participate in the three- month program under the guidance of professional anthropologists.
