The special committee to study to University's Civil preparations met for the first time yesterday and set up preliminary guidelines for its study.
According to Harvey Brooks. Dean of Engineering and Applied Physics and Chairman of the group, the 14-man committee examined several surveys of the University physical plant and debated what issues were involved.
The committee did not decide when it will report to the President of the University or how regularly it will meet.
