The Radcliffe Student Government Association yesterday unanimously sanctioned a fund drive at the 'Cliffe by the Northern Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee. The drive had already been approved by the Harvard Student Council.
The Committee's student campaigners for voter registration in the South will not be permitted to conduct their sale of tokens on a door-to-door basis, however. Only the Combined Charities Drive at Harvard has this option.
Originally affiliated with the Harvard-Radcliffe Liberal Union, the New England chapter of SNCC is seeking money to purchase educational materials and maintain as 18-man field staff. The group will then be able to operate voter registration schools in the rural South.
