NEW MAYORS' TO PRESENT PANEL DISCUSSION DEC. 7

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Four of a breed of so-called "new mayors" in the United States will come to Cambridge next month for a discussion on "Where to Find the Power to Govern?"

Participating on the panel will be Richard C. Lee of New Haven, Conn., Ben West of Nashville, Tenn., Raymond Tucker of St. Louis, and John F. Collins of Boston. Mayor Edward A. Crane '35 of Cambridge will also join in the discussion, presented by the Harvard-M.I.T. Joint Center for Urban Studies Dec. 7, in Sanders Theatre.

Members of the Center envision a new type of progressive mayor now running some American cities and have chosen representatives of the cut to speak.
