ALUMNUS WILL PRESENT MOZART PREMIERE TODAY

A Harvard alumnus will present the American premiere of a Mozart opera tonight at the New England Conservatory of Music.

The work is The Clever Flirt (La Finta Semplice), K. 51. Mozart's first opera buffa and his first full-length opera. The impresario is Baird Hasting '39, who has made the English translation and will conduct the Mozart Festival Orchestra.
