8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
Adams House officials greeted with reserve yesterday the possibility that Quincy House members invade Adams' exclusive swimming pool in Westmorely.
Quincy plans to offer its students a seminar in skin diving under the auspices of a professional "fish." The course will be conducted at the YMCA or in a Harvard pool, conceivably Adams's.
When Andrew G. Jameson, Senior Tutor of Adams House, was informed of the prospect, a worried frown crossed his brow. After suggesting that his pool might be too small, he asked "Would you have to change the water every time they got through?"
Taking issue with Jameson, an Adams superintendent maintained the pool would be large enough for the program. But he also expressed concern lost the skin-diving apparatus--if not the boys--pollute the water.
It is reported that Master Bullitt will be one of the instructors.
