Led by Billy Fryer's two first period goals the freshman hockey team routed southeastern, 7-3, at Watson Rink yesterday for its second straight victory of the season.
Mike Bausch also tallied twice for the Yardlings as they held Northeastern scoreless for the first two periods. Contributing one goal each were Ned Leavitt, Woody Quimby, and Ronald Inannicks.
In their opening game on Tuesday, the Yardlings walloped a weak Norwood High School team, 9-2. Ned Leavitt led the scoring, performing a hat trick in the amazing time of 36 seconds.
"It looks as though we are going to do pretty well," coach Nat Harris commented after yesterday's contest, "but there are many problems still to be ironed out." He cited the team's great depth as the basis of his hopes for a successful season.
