Charles D. Ravenel '61, of Eliot House and Charleston, S.C., was elected First Marshal yesterday by the members of the senior class. First string quarterback on the football team for three years, Ravenel also played on the baseball team and served on the Undergraduate Athletic Council.
Newell Flather '61, of Eliot House and Lowell, and Thomas N. Blodgett '61 of Winthrop House and Great Bennington, were chosen Second and Third Class Marshals. The Fourth Marshal, is Bruce B. Maclntyre '61, of Dunster House and Washington, D.C.
Flather rows on the varsity crew and was a member of the wrestling team. He has been active in the Hasty Pudding, serving as vice-President and business manager. He also been a member of the Glee Club for the past three years.
Blodgett, a member of the Hasty Pudding and the Porcelian Club, has been on the track team for three years. A Glee Club member for four years, he was a junior usher, as were Ravenel and Father.
A government and economics major, Macnltyre has served on the Student Council and was on the committe that drafted 20th Century Week.
