The varsity hockey team will revive a rivalry that ended in 1956 when the Crimson meets Army tonight at West Point. Welland's sextet, victorious over a strong Northeastern squad Thursday, is slightly favored over the Cadets.

Army, coached by Jack Reilly, mentor of last year's U.S. Olympic team, is expected to improve on last season's 16-6 record. In addition, the unusually large at West Point poses problems for existing skaters.

Reilly's Cadets have preyed upon Ivy Leaguers this winters in rolling up their record. Army defeated Yale, Princeton, and Brown--all three highly rated in the League.

Crimson Squad

Because of the loss of wing Bill Beckett. Welland will use Jim Dwinell on one with Dave Grannis and Dave Morse. Dave Crosby, who skated briefly as a forward Thursday, will return to defense with Harry Howell. With the possible exception of Dean Alpine, the Crimson will skate the same personnel that played against Northeastern. Alpine suffered a concussion in the 5-3 win and remains a question mark.

In the hockey series, which was discontinued four years ago, the Crimson with 13 wins and 2 losses. In the last encounter, the varsity edged Army, 4 to 3, in Boston Arena.

In local action at Watson Rink, the senior varsity team will oppose Hebron Academy tonight at 7:30 p.m., and the freshmen will meet Exeter at 4 p.m.
