"Ugly American's" Co-Author Finishes Sequel at University

Working in a fourth floor room of Lowell House, William J. Lederer late last week completed a sequel to the best selling novel, The Ugly American.

Lederer's new book, A Nation of Sheep, will go on sale this spring. In it be attempts to answer the more than 8000 people who wrote him and co-author Eugene Burdick after the release of The Ugly American. 90 per cent of them wanted to know "What can I do about this situation?" Lederer said Saturday.
