DEBATE TEAM WINS

A College debating team comprised of four freshmen won the Amherst Invitational Tournament held last Saturday. Competing on the team were: Anthony R. Riolo and Hans Scherner, affirmative; and William L. Burke and Arden G. Doss, negative.

The topic for debate was, "Resolved: That the United States adopt a system of Compulsory Health Insurance for every citizen." In their victory the freshmen defeated such schools as Cornell, Rutgers, Holy Cross, and Dartmouth, National Champion last year. Doss placed third in the speaking contest.
