Crimson Upsets Eli Rugby Team

A previously unbeaten Yale rugby team fell before a vastly improved Crimson fifteen last Saturday by a more of 13-6. The victory brought the crimson's record to 4-2 as the fall season ended.

Weak tackling early in the game gave Yale two quick scores, but captain Charlie Rowe's team tightened up and charged kick to take the contest. John Damis and David Bowles each scored a try and Lipisi Kavallku tallied on a drop kick account for the scoring. John van Thalkwyk convorted for both tries.

Backs Stand Out

In the open contest that Captain Rowe described as "neat and fast," the Crimson continued the excellent passing game at brought the team its 42-0 victory for the Boston Rugby Club last week.

Commenting on the team's prospects for the spring season, Rowe declared that we could be unbeatable if we get some heavy, tall forwards to help our backs." The past few games are proof, Rowe pointed out, that the Crimson backs are ready the best in the East.
