Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The varsity sailing team this weekend proved conclusively the problem which plagued it earlier in the season. Instead of losing by their usual slim point margin, the Crimson skippers placed sixth in a nine-school fleet at the Denmark trophy races in New London.
The silver went to Dick Cook and company, who piloted the Boston University boats to 146 points over the Thames River Course. The cup-defending Coast Guard cadets placed second with 138.
Although Crimson skipper Carter Ford took third place honors in division A, his teammate Mike Lehman found rough going in the second division. Twice fouls forced Lehman to withdraw and sacrifice much-needed points.
Crimson Edges M.I.T.
Weak consolation for the varsity came from its one-point victory over M.I.T., who placed seventh with 99. A tie-breaking point decision had given Tech the edge over Crimson hopes last week in the EISA team racing eliminations held also on the Thames.
Other fleets finishing ahead of the varsity were Princeton (114), Ohio State (110), and Yale (107). The Crimson fleet has now trailed the Ellis at three consecutive regattas.
