Student Council Membership Adopts Charity Drive Report

The Student Council last night approved the report of the Advisory Board of the 1960 Combined Charities Drive, that lists six recommended charities and 27 suggested organizations to be included in the fall drive. Two more groups may be added to the "suggested" list, pending further investigation.

Thomas C. Jones '63 and Michael H. P. Belknap '63, co-chairmen of the drive, also introduced a plan to put out a "givers' guide" to inform undergraduates about each of the charities.
