Jery L. Patterson 1GB, of Forrest City, Arkansas, has been awarded a Rotary Foundation Fellowship for study abroad, it was announced recently. Patterson plans to use the fellowship to study law at an Australian University, in preparation for a career in business management.

This year's Rotary fellowships have been awarded to 120 graduate students from 28 countries. Four Harvard students besides Patterson are among this year's recipients of the awards.

The Rotary fellowships were instituted in 1947. Students are chosen from candidates sponsored by local Rotary clubs.
