A total of 1047 people contributed to the Phillips Brooks House blood drive last December, according to Miss Lee Grace, director of the Cambridge Red Cross blood program.
The break-down of donations is as follows: College undergraduates, 634 pints; College graduates, 278; Radcliffe undergraduates, 108; Radcliffe graduates, 4; University faculty, 37; University staff, 7; University employees, 25; Radcliffe employees, 2; and, persons of no connection with either school, 49.
In all, 1286 people turned out for the drive. The number rejected was 239.
