Tom Blodgett will lead a small but determined Crimson contingent in the annual Knights of Columbus track meet tomorrow at the Boston Garden. None of the Crimson entrants seems likely to take a first against some of the nation's outstanding performers, but several could finish high among the leaders.

As he bids to become Harvard's first 14-ft. pole vaulter, Blodgett will face opposition like Don "Tarzan" Bragg, who has cleared 15 ft., 9 in. indoors; Jerry Welbourn, another 15-footer; and ex-Penn star John Gray, one of the best the Ivy League has produced. Blodgett, coholder of the University indoor mark at 13 ft., 6 in., will be going after Tom Ford's record of 13 ft., 11 3/4 in.

Blodgett and freshmen Art Doten and Gary Grikscheit will run in the hurdles against defending champion Lee Calhoun, among others. Varsity captain Pat Liles will meet New England's best collegiate middle-distance men in the Farrell 500.

Stan Doten and Ed Bailey in the weight throw, Steve Cohen and Dick DeLone in the shot, and Jan Chadwick in the broad jump will represent the Crimson in the afternoon events.
