The White House has informed Milton Katz, Director of the Center for International Legal Studies, that President Eisenhower has agreed to speak at the formal opening of the new Legal Studies building October 5.

The President's committment was made before the announcement of his trip to the U.S.S.R., and has not been reconfirmed since. Dag Hammarskjold, Secretary-General of the United Nations, will also attend the opening.
