The conference on "Scientific Creativity in an Organizational Setting," to be held July 20-22, will be marked by both closed and opened sessions. Scientists will join with leaders of industry, government, and education in an attempt to evaluate the influence of large organizations, such as universities and industrial and governmental laboratories, on the creativity of individuals and groups. The conferences, with a view toward increasing scientific creativity in America, will measure the extent of significant discoveries in their various fields and settings, and try to identify reasons for success and failure.

Delivering the keynote address of the first public session, to take place in Sanders Theatre, will be J. Bronowski, of the National Coal Board in England.
