The varsity golf team dropped its second match in three starts, as it bowed to Yale, 5 to 2, at the Brookline Country Club yesterday.

Crimson captain Frank Dodge, one up on the 18th hole, topped the number one Eli, John Suisman, 76 to 78, on the par 72 course. Al Lipsky, the Crimson's number six man, registered the varsity's other win with a 79, two up on the 18th.

The freshman golfers lost to the Bulldogs, 4 to 3, though Crimson John Livingood sank a 35 ft. birdie putt on the 21st hole, to win the number one match. Playing conditions were excellent on the long, well-trapped course.
