HDC Names Plays For Fall Production

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Harvard Dramatic Club voted last night to produce Tennessee Williams' Glass Menagerie and Jean Giraudoux's Tiger at the Gates, next fall. Giraudoux's play, which may be presented in the Fogg Museum courtyard, is translated from the French by Christopher Fry.

The club's executive board will choose producers and directors for the two shows tomorrow evening, and partial casting will begin next week. The first play of the fall, probably Glass Menagerle, will open Oct. 22.

HDC is now rehearsing two plays for New England's television stations. Miracle on the Danube will be shown in Boston live and in color.
