A memorial service for Samuel Powel III, late of the Class of 1961, will be held this Sunday at 10:45 a.m. at the St. George's School Chapel, Middletown, in Newport, R.I. Friends of Powel are invited to attend.

Powel was killed in an automobile accident on December 17, 1958, returning from Harvard to his home in Elgin, Ill. An honorary scholarship recipient, he had just been elected to the Lampoon.
