HBS Graduates Make 'Fortune'

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The average graduate of the Harvard Business School, Class of 1949, "faces the world in good health and with equanimity" as well as a yearly income of $14,000, according to the June issue of Fortune magazine.

After receiving completed questionnaires from 68 per cent of the 652 graduates, Fortune ascertained that the average '49er underestimated his prospective earnings on graduation..

When asked "Are you having any fun?" some six men answered "no;" another 72 declined, in one way or another, to give an unqualified "yes." One man who spent his undergraduate days at Yale, called his time at the Harvard Business School "my most valuable educational years."
