Freshman Ball Team Plays Indians Today

The freshman baseball team, behind lefthander Tom Boone, will go after its ninth win this afternoon at Solidiers Field against the Indians from Dartmouth. Boone will be trying for his fourth straight as he faces a strong Dartmouth freshman nine.

Yesterday in a game against the University of New Hampshire that was rained out at the end of two and a half innings, the Yardlings proved that they are again hitting at their early-season pace. The season's leader at the plate with a .368 average is lead-off man Mike Drummey.
